Article 1: IPLA Objectives

IPLA aims to:

1. Promote the spread and practice of padel at an amateur level worldwide.
2. Create a global network of amateur players.
3. Organize events, tournaments, and training activities for members.
4. Provide support and resources for improving players’ technical, tactical, and social skills.

Article 2: Registration and Membership Fees

1. Registration criteria:

   All amateur padel players can join IPLA, regardless of skill level. It is not necessary to be registered with other sports federations.

2. Membership fees:
   • Annual membership: €75.
   • Biennial membership: €100.
3. Payment methods:

   The fee can be paid online through the official IPLA portal or at affiliated points.

4. Membership validity:

   Registration guarantees access to membership benefits for the chosen period (12 or 24 months).

5. Renewal:

   It is the member’s responsibility to renew their membership before expiration to maintain benefits without interruption.

Article 3: Members’ Rights

IPLA members have the right to:

1. Participate in official events and tournaments organized or sponsored by IPLA.
2. Access exclusive resources, such as technical videos, guides, and training materials.
3. Receive discounts from official IPLA partners (sports equipment, padel courts, travel, and events).
4. Join the global network of players, with the opportunity to interact and play with members from other countries.
5. Have priority access to registrations for courses and clinics organized by the association.
6. Participate in the annual members’ assembly with voting rights on key organizational issues.

Article 4: Members’ Duties

Each member is required to:

1. Respect IPLA regulations, official game rules, and organizers’ decisions during events.
2. Maintain sportsmanlike and respectful behavior towards other players, referees, and organizers.
3. Not use the IPLA name and logo for commercial purposes without written authorization.
4. Promptly inform IPLA of any changes to personal data (e.g., address, email, etc.).
5. Not engage in activities that may damage the image of the association or its members.

Article 5: Tournaments and Competitions

1. Categories:

   IPLA tournaments will be divided based on skill levels (Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced) to ensure balanced matches.

2. Rankings:

   Each member participates in the IPLA world amateur ranking, which will be regularly updated based on tournament results.

3. Prizes:

   Being dedicated to amateurs, tournaments may offer non-cash prizes (e.g., equipment, discount vouchers, trophies).

4. Game rules:

   Competitions will follow official padel rules, with any modifications indicated before the start of the tournament.

Article 6: Additional Benefits

IPLA members can enjoy:

1. Insurance coverage: Included in the membership fee to cover potential injuries during official IPLA tournaments.
2. Access to affiliated courts: Discounts on padel courts at partner facilities worldwide.
3. International exchange: Opportunity to participate in events and tournaments organized in other IPLA member countries.
4. Digital services: Dedicated app to monitor progress, register for events, and communicate with other members.

Article 7: Disciplinary Sanctions

1. Unacceptable behaviors:
   • Acts of physical or verbal violence.
   • Use of offensive or discriminatory language.
   • Fraud or unsportsmanlike conduct during competitions.
2. Sanctions:

   Depending on the severity of the behavior, IPLA may apply:

   • Official warning.
   • Temporary suspension from tournaments.
   • Expulsion from the association without refund of the membership fee.
3. Appeals:

   Members have the right to appeal against disciplinary sanctions within 15 days of notification.

Article 8: Withdrawal from the Association

1. Members can decide to withdraw from IPLA at any time by sending written communication.
2. The membership fee is non-refundable.

Article 9: Amendments to the Regulations

1. Any amendment to these regulations must be approved by the annual members’ assembly.
2. Amendments will be communicated to all members via email and published on the official IPLA website.
